"Homecoming" is a three-day Cheshbon HaNefesh boot camp for the month of Elul. We turn inward to repair the most essential connection, the one with ourselves, which naturally leads to a renewed and repaired bond with God.
This is the permission to remove the mask you’ve worn all year and strip away the layers that have distanced you from your genuine identity.
Cheshbon HaNefesh is a holy practice of a spiritual accounting of your life, you reflect on what is working for you or isn’t. You assess where you may have gone off your path and strayed from your inner guidance, and how you can realign with the truth of who you are.
This process is not only one of self-discovery but of soul-repair, as the more we return to our authentic selves, the more we return to Hashem.Â
The Kabbalistic teachings of Elul remind us Tikkun Olam begins with ones self and one’s home. To change the world, love your family. This is a ripple effect that begins with your home and then reaches to your community and the rest of the world.
